Join me for our annual night of Candlelit Yin Yoga on the Winter Solstice. Commencing with a soft qi gong inspired moving meditation moving slowly into stillness, quietening the mind, returning to the present moment, in celebration of this special night, the Winter Solstice.
The Winter Solstice has been observed some say from 10.200 BC. ‘Winter Arrives@, a welcome for the return of longer days as we slowly move out of the darkness into the light. A celebration of community, a gathering, traditionally symbolised with fire and light.
Light your candles, light your fires, gather your blankets, cushions and bolsters, this is your night.
This night is for everyone, even the complete beginner. Val will guide you through each pose, with many variations, helping you to find a place where you can settle.
